Limited License
Each Snap Thursday website template can be used for a single website on a single domain. A purchaser has the ability to duplicate the template however, we request that you come back and purchase a duplicate license and include the domain name for this website.
Unlimited-use License
All Snap Thursday templates come with an option to purchase an unlimited-use license, meaning they can be used an unlimited amount of times on an unlimited amount of websites. You have permission to use templates on both personal and commercial Squarespace projects, and may further allow your clients to utilize them on their websites. One thing of note, this Unlimited-use license does not extend to an end-user or client that you have built a website for using the Snap Thursday website template. Therefore, a client cannot duplicate their website and build another website without purchasing a new template license.
Not Allowed
While using Snap Thursday templates you are not allowed to do any pf the following:
Sell or redistribute templates and plugins;
Claim ownership of templates and plugins;
Freely share template/plugin code in a public manner (blog, newsletter, etc.);
Share templates and plugins with fellow designers or competitors;
Copy and offer templates and plugins on a similar service.
Risks
Using any website builder can come with challenges and risks. Mostly, the Squarespace™ platform performs as advertised and is very intuitive and user friendly. Therefore, we have chosen to build our templates strictly within its framework of tools and features. However, there are a number of third-party websites that offer plugins, code-snippets, etc for altering the design of a Squarespace™ website. We don’t add any additional plugins or code snippets to our templates and cannot help you if you run into a problem as a result of doing so.
Modifications
These Terms of Service are subject to change at any time, and by using the Snap Thursday website, you agree to the most current version that’s publicly available.
Support
Snap Thursday offers limited support due to the nature of the product. Once you begin to edit our templates it can become difficult to repair user edits. However, if you do have a question please reach out to us at hey@snapthursday.com and we’d be happy to look into your issue. Also, if you feel like you just need to try starting over, go ahead and message us and we’ll share a new version of the template so that you can try again.
